To the Righteous Remnant
Day 21
REBUILDING THE WALL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR NATION, STATES, AND TERRITORIES – 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Day 4: Pennsylvania, December 12, 1787
To the Remnant Rising,
“Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. The Lord nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the peoples. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance. (Psalm 33:8-12; NASB)
“Our children will also serve Him. Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord. His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born. They will hear about everything he has done.” (Psalm 22:30-31; NLT)
Let’s look at this quote and a letter from Elias Boudinot who was born in the state of Pennsylvania. He served as President of Congress; signed the peace treaty to end the American Revolution; first attorney admitted to the US Supreme Court bar; framer of the bill of rights; and was the director of the US Mint.
“Let us enter on this important business under the idea that we are Christians on whom the eyes of the world are now turned… Let us earnestly call and beseech Him, for Christ’s sake, to preside in our councils… We can only depend on the all-powerful influence of the Spirit of God, Whose Divine aid and assistance it becomes us as a Christian people most devoutly to implore. Therefore, I move that some minister of the Gospel be requested to attend this Congress every morning . . . in order to open the meeting with prayer.”
A letter to his daughter:
You have been instructed from your childhood in the knowledge of your lost state by nature – the absolute necessity of a change of heart and an entire renovation of soul to the image of Jesus Christ – of salvation through His meritorious righteousness only – and the indispensable necessity of personal holiness without which no man shall see the Lord [Hebrews 12:14]. You are well acquainted that the most perfect and consummate doctrinal knowledge is of no avail without it operates on and sincerely affects the heart, changes the practice, and totally influences the will – and that without the almighty power of the Spirit of God enlightening your mind, subduing your will, and continually drawing you to Himself, you can do nothing. . . . And may the God of your parents (for many generations past) seal instruction to your soul and lead you to Himself through the blood of His too greatly despised Son, who notwithstanding, is still reclaiming the world to God through that blood, not imputing to them their sins. To Him be glory forever! (Elias Boudinot, The Age of Revelation (Philadelphia: Asbury Dickins, 1801), pp. xii-xiv, from the prefatory remarks to his daughter, Susan, on October 30, 1782)

Prayer:
Father, we acknowledge that You are the Lord of the United States of America. We thank you for our founding fathers who established this nation in Your righteousness. Let all the earth fear the Lord. You nullify the counsel of the nations; You frustrates the plans of the peoples. We declare, the counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of Your heart from generation to generation. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom You have chosen for Your own inheritance. We are your righteous inheritance standing before you in the land. We declare, our children will serve You. Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord. Your righteous acts will be told to those not yet born. They will hear about everything the Lord has done. We ask for a change of heart and an entire renovation of the soul of this nation through Jesus Christ and by the power of Holy Spirit. Let Your awakening and transformation come to America in such a way that it sincerely affects the heart, changes the practice, and totally influences the will of a nation! Thank you for the righteous legacy of Elias Boudinot and William Penn. Father, we acknowledge and come into agreement with your kingdom plan and purposes for the state of Pennsylvania. We ask that you plumb line Pennsylvania in your righteousness. We agree with the words of William Penn, “Right is right, even if everyone is against it, and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it.” We call Pennsylvania to awaken in her birthright and destiny as ordained by Almighty God. Pennsylvania, we acknowledge you as “The Keystone State”. You are the stone at the top of an arch that holds everything together; the block that holds all the other blocks in place. Father, let justice and righteousness flow through this state overturning injustices and division. Remove the trauma of war, innocent bloodshed, broken covenants and division from this land and bring complete healing. Let the blood of Jesus Christ speak over and cleanse this state of all defilement and unrighteousness. We pray for righteous authorities to be established throughout the state. Pennsylvania, your virtue is your ability to liberate and realign this nation spiritually through governmental praying and declaration. We declare that the three-fold cord of godly virtue, liberty and independence will rise-up within this state and shift our nation. Let Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, pour out the love of God upon you and this nation bringing healing and reconciliation. Lord, reconnect, restore and revive your plan for this state and our nation. We put a demand on the godly inheritance of Pennsylvania to be released and flow throughout our land. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Pennsylvania 1776, Preamble. “We, the people of Pennsylvania,
